Chanting, Voice and Soundplay

We begin with a sound and breath meditation.  Then we gently warm-up the voice and body.  The chanting will generally be simple, spiritual words and melodies that repeat, often accompanied by drum rhythm or harmonium.  These chants are melodic, rhythmic affirmations that create a healing effect on the mind, body and spirit.  We may also explore rhythm with simple instruments, meditative soundscapes, soundbaths and other spiritual adventures in sound.  No musical experience necessary.  Chanting, the main practice of bhakti yoga, and soundplay are gentle forms of exercise, and are an opportunity to find your voice and creatively express yourself...
