Expressive arts embrace all the art forms as tools for relaxation, healing and therapeutic purposes. Rather than focussing on performance or technical proficiency, drawing, movement, poetry, sound and music making, etc. are approached as practices for self expression, transformation and community building. Meditation is also an invaluable tool for self-care and increasing awareness. This playful course will combine expressive arts with basic meditation and relaxation practices.
Duncan Harte, M.A., has been enthusiastically teaching meditation and expressive arts since 1997.
